The BSS-Do Essex opened in July 1997 and is now situated 4 miles south-east of the historic town of Colchester, based at Birch Village Hall, Essex CO2 0ND.

This lovely rural venue is spacious and inviting, with a large kitchen, cloakroom and excellent storage facilities. The Village Hall is surrounded by fields and has it’s own car park for 20+ cars.

The Dojo can facilitate up to 35 students and is equipped with futons and futons. There is also a library complete with course books and Anatomy and Physiology visual aids.

It is easily accessible from Colchester town and has road links from the A12, A130 and A120, enabling students to travel from a wide catchment area – from London as well as the whole of East Anglia. There are fast Intercity rail links to Colchester from London.
