Understanding the pulse: an introduction to TCM pulse diagnosis

Cost: £55 (Early Bird Fee £50 if you pay by 19 February)

Reading and understanding the pulse has for centuries been an integral part of diagnosis in many forms of Eastern medicine. From the pulse we are able to find the most detailed information about the current physical and mental health of a patient.

This workshop aims to introduce the basic concepts of pulse diagnosis and is suitable for Complementary Health Practitioners with some knowledge of TCM.

It is offered in two parts so that students can absorb the material and practice what is learnt before continuing on to the next level.

This is a very practical, experiential workshop where pulses will be checked and explained. The group will be small in number so that personal attention can be given to each student.

The six principal positions according to the modern system of TCM

The four basics:- Speed, Regularity, Force and Depth
